Unity Ceremonies

Service Description

A unity ceremony is a super way to add something a little different and special to any of our celebration ceremonies (not just weddings!) You may wish to 'tie the knot' with a handfasting, jump the broom into your new future, or perhaps plant a tree to symbolise growing together. There are plenty to choose from and I enjoy creating new ones with you too, which demonstrates your unique relationship or your family values. Unity ceremonies are for everyone, and give your ceremony a fantastic visual for guests to enjoy. You might, for example, like to symbolise the arrival of your child by lighting a candle in their honour, or ask your guests to write down wishes and hopes for your child then hang these on a wishing tree. If you wish to include a cultural or religious aspect to your ceremony, we can include a symbolic ritual to reflect and honour this in a respectful way. Cost: writing the unity ritual into your ceremony is included in your ceremony fee, but the physical 'props' will be costed as extra, or you may wish to provide your own. ​
